how can I send email between two domain

I have two domains, each has an exchange server, how can I configure
this two exchange servers that I can sent email between each other? who
can help me?  or just tell me where to find information. thanks

Yes, domain are called root.com(first installed Active Directory),
child.root.com(child of root.com) and another is another.com(not a
child), they are in same forest. Only one DNS server in root.com. I
install two exchange server in child.root.com, and one exchange server
in another.com, so I have some users in child.root.com domain want to
sent email to another.com domain.
