Hi,

We installed last week a new exchange server on a site in UK. This server is
included in our exchange organization.

Both servers are running Exchange 2003 SP2. The UK server is also a DC and
GC for the UK site. Both servers share the same public folder tree. We set up
replication for Free/Busy, Address books and EForms.

Despite that, Outlook clients on the UK sites try to connect sometimes to
our HQ Exchange server. Do you know where I could find a checklist to
troublshoot this problem or do you know what it could be ? Where could I find
the post-installation tasks after integrating an Exchange server into an
organization over WAN links?

Thanks in advance.

If the outlook client users have a mailbox created under your HQ Exchange
sevrver and they are opening outlook from UK, then obveiosly they will
connect to thier mailbox located in your HQ Exchange server over the WAN, so
check where are these users created. and check what is the exchange server
they are trying to connect to.

Do you have the UK users in their own Mailbox store? If so make sure that
you check which default public folder store they are pointing at...
