I'm need a hand with something.

I have the following setup:

Admin Group A (located in Texas)
  Server A

Admin Group B (located in Alabama)
  Server B

All connectors and associated connections all work perfect.

I need to replace Server B with another server because it's running out of
HD space on the entire server.

So, what I'd like to do is crate Admin Group C and place the server from A
and the newly created server (C) into group C.   The reason for Group C is
that A and B are labled for old domains that no longer have computers in
them, but the domain will not go away (when you browse the network I still
see the old domains listed and I found out it's because of where the Exchange
server are listed in Exchange Manager - I know, it doesn't make sense to me
either).  I figure creating Group C with the corresponding domain name and
moving both Exchange Servers into it will fix my problems.

Am I able to do this?  If so, how do I move Server A into Group C, I cannot
figure it out.

You cannot move a server from one Admin Group into another without
reinstalling Exchange. If you have a spare box, you could swing it.

Thanks for the reply.  My original posting did mention that I was going to be
installing Exchange on another server due to the current server running out
of HD space.

So is the answer to my question then, yes I can do what I've asked to be
possible?

Yes, new servers can be installed in new Admin Group. Assuming you're
installing the new server(s) in the same AD Forest/Exchange Org.

- Do you want to get rid of the redundant Active Directory domains? If there
are NO servers (including no domain controllers and Exchange servers) in
those AD domains, you can remove them manually.
- Or do you want to get rid of redundant email addresses (smtp domains)?
This can be done by modifying/removing Recipient Policy in Exchange.

Currently we have our Exchange servers in Admin Groups that have nothing else
in them so I want to remove those Admin Groups.  Thanks for the info and the
help!

To remove the admin group, you'll have to make sure there are no Exchange
servers in it. If there is one, you'll have to uninstall Exchange on that
server before you can remove it.
