Windows Server Forum / Exchange Server / Design / September 2005Best Practice for Exchange in multiple countries?
We are setting up a facility in China and want to provide users there with Exchange/Outlook access. Currently this is done via an Exchange server in the U.S. and they either VPN in or use RPC over HTTP. How do others set this up? My thought is to setup a new Exchange server in China w/ a new org, etc, but I would like to provide them with GAL sync with the U.S. and would really like some way for U.S. employees traveling in China to be able to connect to the server in China instead of VPN'ing back to the U.S. Why you don't install a new site or a new in the same forest and than install the exchange server in the same organization?
