per accident the exchange domain servers security group got moved
and also some other exchange related security groups

is this a serious mistake?
right after I got an MSA error in event viewer saying that the
membership could not be read
this interfered with replication of new distribution lists and modified
address lists

can I just put all the security groups needed for exchange back in
their original place?
and to be sure, wich are the default groups that need to be in the
users folder?
or can they remain in the other OU where they are at now?

thnx

Chris:

It isn't a serious mistake, but you should move the groups back.  Exchange
doesn't like to have those two groups moved around much.

This KB article describes the problem a little:
