InterOrg in Exch2007

Hi all,
I'm reading that there's no inter-org tool for Exch2007? So if I need to
replicate free busy and public folder from another Exch2003 based org into
my Exch2007 org I must also install an Exch 2003 in my Exch 2007 org?

Is there any plans to include this interorg tool natively for Exch2007 to
make it easier?

Cheers.

Btw, is the latest interOrg tool version "06.05.7408" downloadable at:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=E7A951D7-1559-4F8F-B400
-488B0C52430E&displaylang=en
?
Most, if not all, pages about this tool points here for the download. Its
dated 21st of September 2004. That's quite awefully long ago. Is there a new
version?

Our environments will have a mix of Outlook 2003 and 2007 within two
forests/Exch orgs -- one on Exch 2007 and the other on Exch 2003; so I guess
we'd have to use the InterOrg replication tool and not just the Availability
services in Exch2007.

Thanks.

Hi all,
I'm finding mixed writings, some said the InterOrg tool could possibly be
used in a scenario similar to mine and some says no. I basically want to use
InterOrg sync tool to synchronise free busy between one Exchange 2007
organization with another Exchange 2003 organization.

In my lab, I am running this InterOrg tool off a member Windows 2003 server
residing in the Exch 2007 forest. Trying to schedule the sync service I get
this "incompatible version of MAPI32.DLL" error message. I have the Exch2007
admin tools installed on this InterOrg server.

Two things in my mind now....
1. Run this InterOrg from the Exch2003 side of the forest
2. This InterOrg tool is simply NOT supported for my scenar

Need help and pointers on this tool...

Many thanks.

It makes sense that it's incompatible with Exchange 2007.  Try running it on
a machine with just the Exchange 2003 tools installed.

Thank you Ed,
Indeed it makes sense :-P I'm trying it out as suggested in my lab.
Hopefully it works out...

Cheers,
Michelle.

You can get the interorg replication tool running on the system that has
the Exchange 2007 admin tools installed.  You just need to install the
MAPI Client Libraries:
