We had one front end in DMZ and one back-end in inside. Back end configurd
with smart host in SMTP virtual server

When i have added another back-end inside, there is mail routing problem
between the 2 back-ends. external communication is ok.
i found the problem was due to smtp smart host setting, when we remove it is
working.
But we want both servers to send all outbound mail to front-end not direct.
do i need to configure any connector to solve this problem? and connector
with forwroding or what?

Hi there,

Do not configure a smarthost on the SMTP Virtual Server.

Configure an SMTP Connector, and select the Front End as the Bridgehead for
it.

I have tried, but outgoing mail is going directly from back-end to outside. I
want all mail to outside should go through front-end.
I have configured connector with Bridgehead (front-end),

is there any thing else i need to do?
