We have two terminal server.  On one when you go to
Oulook-->Tools-->Options-->Other, the "Empty the Deleted Items folder upon
exiting" check mark is set and grayed out.  No way to uncheck.

On our other terminal server this option is available to select or deselect.

How do I get Outlook on the terminal server with the option grayed out, to
make that selection available.

Thanks.

Sounds like you have a GPO that is being applied to that particular Terminal
Server.

That is what I thought as well.  I have looked through the Default Domain
policy on the domain controller and looked at the local security policy on
the terminal server.  I did not see anything that related to this.  Since it
only happens on one to the two terminal servers I would think it has to do
with a local policy on that server.  Any idea exactly what I should look for?

Thanks.

It's an Office policy item so it would have to be in a GPO that had the
Office Administrative Template files added to it.

...running rsop.msc & gpresult on this server would be the best way to find
out.

Thanks guys.  That did it.  Found it in the Local Computer Policy\User
Configuration\Administrative Templates\Microsoft Office Outlook
2003\Tools\Other.
