I've seen articles claiming that the new V2 phones support sync of
email, contacts, etc over SSL - anyone got this working and care to
comment on it?

All of our Win Mobile users have no problems, some want to switch to
IPhones now...

The new iPhone supports Exchange ActiveSync.
It will be available in little over a month - on July 11.

Bharat,

Is it possible to get either the new OS for the iPhone or the
ActiveSync software onto the older iPhones?  We have several users
that are using the older iPhones to connect to their Exchange accounts
via IMAP, but that of course isn't nearly as nice as using EAS.

Thanks,
Javier

According to this, the software will be available for the iPhone 1.0 as
well.
