Hi
Sorry if this is the wrong place but I can't find anywhere better to ask the
question.
I've added a user in Active Directory, and set them up with an email
account, When in Outllok I can find them in All Users but not the GAL any
idea why?

TIA

Hello Graham,
Just throwing out an idea: Perhaps by default users are inserted into the
"All Users" and not GAL. Thus you need to be manually add that person to
your GAL. Either in Active Directory or in your personal email, you may need
to add to the GAL. Hope this helps.

Your global address list will only get updated 1 time every day (default at
5am), unless you manually rebuild the OAB. When you create an object in the
active directory each object will get added to the specific container based
on the PR_OBJECT_TYPE. Each object has an unique type (mailbox, contact, dl,
etc).
