you can cause OWA not to display the calendar. You can have Outlook use an
alternate HTTP page instead of displaying the calendar. But ultimately you
cannot delete the calendar if the client is outlook.
The old Exchange client will let you delete it but Outlook will re-create it
the next time it's started.

yes, outlook will recreate it.
