Hi Exchange Server Gurus,
I would like to know what are the advantages and disadvantages and ur
suggestion regarding having the Companies Exchange Server out side companies
premises (May be third party solution at ISP who is Min 100 Kms away from the
company). Or is it best to be inside the company. Exchange server serves for
2000 + employees.

I appriciate if some one give expert openion with some documentations or
presentation or links that support the above openion or suggestion.

Thanking you in advance

Are you using your own server or the service providers server? What ever
server you have I would recommend a solution similar to Dell's DRAC where
the server can be powered on or off remotely if the server crashes. The DRAC
also alows for remote access if your unable to log into windows. HP has it's
own verion of a DRAC as well.

Thank you Andrew,

I would like to do a feasible study regarding the Exchange Server weather
the Exchange server should be be outside company premisis or within the
premisis.Keeping in mind the nearest ISP would be as far as 100+ Kms to our
company. In this scenario what is you suggestion & if u have supporting
technical documents or presentation, or links. I would appriciate in this
regards this is my major concern. Regarding  Hardware we can afford for any
kind of solution.

Best Regards
