Does anybody know if it's ok to delete the tranlog files. My server's drive
has 136 gig of stored log files...

Hi,

In general, transaction logs are cleared automatically during a system
backup (Exchange aware though)

My suggestion is to launch an NTBackup and backup the full Exchange server
to tape (or to disk-file if you want). This will commit all transaction logs
to the databases.

Has this happened in a short time or are you seeing log files from a longer
period ? Having a lot of transaction logs could also mean an issue with your
Exchange server...

Hope to hear from you again soon.

Kind regards,

Peter
