I have one weird situation and not even sure where to look for the
cause.

If anyone sends a meeting request to users1 the person requesting the
meeting gets a bounce notice for users2.  The problem is user2 doesn't
have a mailbox and is only in AD as a user.

The bounce message is #550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.ExRecipNotFound; not
found ##

Now I know about 2-3 years ago user2 did have a mailbox, but they left
2-3 years ago and we deleted the old mailbox.  We kept the AD record.
When user2 was here they did work for user1 and it is possible that
user1 setup user2 as a delegate to thier calendar, I have checked and
user1 has no delegates showing in outlook for thier calendar.

Does anyone have any idea where to look or tools to search AD/Exchange
for the user2 email?

John

we are in the middle of migrating from E2k3 to E2k7.  User1 is on
e2k7, user2 would have been on e2k3 when they had a mailbox.

Ghost delegate? Check out http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;252800

The KB does seem to describe my situation, but, when I try to follow
the steps in the KB I don't get the data as expected.

Steps 1-4 go fine, when I do step 5 and double click on schedule the
Associated Message in Fld is blank, along with the other two fields at
top (Child Folder & Message in Folder).  My guess is that since the
mailbox in question is a e2k7 mailbox, MDBview utility doesn't work on
it.
