OWA, IISLockdown and page not loading

I am using Exchange 2K Enterprise in a front-end/ back-end configuration with
IISLockdown tool running on the front-end server only. After installing some
recent security patches I disabled the ASPEnableParentPaths option as per a
recommendation from the Baseline Security Analyzer. After this I had trouble
with the OWA not being accessible, so I attempted to reset the
ASPEnableParentPaths option. To make a long story even longer I eventually
reloaded The Exchange on the front-end server. This was not a big deal as it
only is used for OWA and not an Information Store. Now to the problem; I
login to the OWA page and get a message stating "Loading..." and the images
are placeholders except for the two Active X controls in the upper left
corner(Folders and Shortcuts). If I run the IISLockdown tool again to undo
the settings then it all works fine. Then I proceed to run the IISLockdown
tool again to secure the IIS and it will work for about an hour  or two until
it fails with the loading message condition.

I guess I should have asked the question; Does anyone have suggestions to fix
this?
I appreciate any help.

This does not happen when I unload the rules from the IIS Lockdown tool.
Thanks again

Today I found that IISLockdown is not the reason. The error from the system
log that I posted earlier showed up again at 7:00am this morning and now the
"Loading" condition is back.
