Deal All,

My Exchange 2000 server, somehow got intermittent sending & receiving

Hi,

Look in the event logs for clues.

How do you know that mails are missing?
Do you know fore sure that you are receiving the missing mails?

Message tracking might help.

To add to Leif's reply - definitely enable message tracking (with subject
line tracking) in ESM so you can do a little more research. If need be, you
can also crank up the SMTP logging - it's not as easy to decipher, but it
may be helpful.
