Hello,

I have an Exchange 2000 server and a 2003 server in a site. The Exchange
2000 server has been retired (all users moved over, all functions moved to
2003, etc.). However it will not uninstall. It keeps complaining about a
mailbox still being in use as the reason it will not uninstall. There are
none. Only the three initial mailboxes (system, system attendant, etc.) that
Exchange sets up at installation exist.

I have all the services shut down and all is running properly. If I wipe
this Exchange 2000 server and reuse as a Windows 2003 and SQL 2000 box and
just manually delete the server from the site (via system manager) will
anything come back to bite me?

Thanks,

Michael
