Hello all,

We are using an Event Sink registered for the global store-wide event
OnSyncSave with Exchange Server 2003.

Although Event Sink works fine for the majority of the events happening in
Exhange Server, it doesn’t seem to fire up when mail is sent, which is
confirmed by the following article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/297274

Is there any way to trigger Event Sink when a mail is sent?

If not, is there any way to store programmatically an identical email to the
one that is being sent in Sender’s Exchange Mailbox Sent Items? (This way
will fire up the Event Sink)

Any other suggestions?

Hello,

you can enable Journaling on your Exchange server and register the store
event sink on the journal mailbox.

Regards,
Victor Ivanidze
