What type of AV do you have? If it is Symantec 9.x they have a fix for it.
(Auto-Protect feature)
If not there may be a problem with your external DNS servers (Forwarders)
resolving the name properly.
Make sure you do not have DNS servers listed under the SMTP Virtual Server
properties\Delivery\Advanced\Configure button. If so remove them and
restart the SMTP service in Windows services.
