Two mailboxes local to same Exchange Server 2003 (SP2)

The Exchange server 2003 sends a delivery receipt back to the originating
mailbox.  The recipient has no rules diverting the message to a subfolder or
forwarding it to another destination.   There doesn't seem to be any message
filtering in place at the mailbox level.

SMTP diagnostics set to medium.  No errors!

I can't find the message!

Hi,

Can you check if the total number of messages in ESm under Mailbox
store-mailboxes increases? if yes then take a backup of following key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\VirusScan
and elete it, restart information store service and now check the messages
