I recently loaded Norton Ativirus Corp. Edition 10.0. It seems that since
then Outlook takes forever to open emails.

Anyone having this issue or similar. Does anyone know any tricks to speed up
Outlook.

Where did you install NAVCE? On the Exchange server, or on the workstations?

I'm personally not a huge fan of NAV and don't use it, but if this is a
problem with an add-in in Outlook, it's easy enough to test by disabling it
in your mail profiles in Outlook. Disable mail scanning. You should have
Exchange-aware AV software running on your network anyway....

I have used SAVCE 10.x.  In addition to Lanwench's most excellent idea of
not installing the mail scanning addins on the client, I also recommend that
the OST/PST files be excluded from real-time scanning.

And I agree with your most excellent suggestion herein. ;-)
