Is it possible to use Exchange server 2000 with Outlook 2003 clients?

Yes, I am doing it now.

Yes; however, if you have public folders with custom forms, and the users
access those folders via the 2003 shorcuts, you will have issues and need to
republish those custom forms repeatedly.  2003 caches the forms for shorcuts,
so custom forms become problematic.  For now, the users will have to access
public folders with custom forms from the folder list directly, not from
shorcuts.
