mails are vanishing from inbox...

Hi,
I was having 100 plus mails in my inbox. Suddenly my
system got stuck. And after that all my applications got
closed on their own. When I started the system again, all
my mails were vanished. I am having a personal folder but
the delivery is set to my mailbox only.
I work on outlook 2K and mail server is E2K.
I need help fast.

I am having the same issue.  And now if you send an e mail the the inbox it shows up for about 5 sec then is gone.  I do not see where it is going.  All forwarding is off, Archive is off, I even deleted and recreated my maibox and still have the same problem.  Any ideas or solutions?
