I'm using Exchange 2000 Server and Outlook 2000 as the
mail client.

Lately, I've been receiving TWO messages in my Inbox for
every 1 email I receive. The first one comes as HTML. The
2nd one comes as Plain Text.

The subject line, date, time and body of the two messages
are identical. HOWEVER, the "From:" field is blank on the
HTML duplicate.

I don't think I'm seeing things, but it looks like
Exchange is parsing an email that's being sent as both
HTML and Plain Text and somehow thinks that they are TWO
separate emails instead of two versions of the same email.

Anyone have an idea of what's going on?

David.

Did you install any e-mail backup software latly ???
This could be that the software is sending copy of the e-
mail to recipient.
It also could be some disclamiers or spam e-mail software
that have option to monitor mail.

This is happening to someone at my work as well. We have around 30
clients on our exchange server and she is the only one who has thi
problem. Nothing has changed on our system lately. We do us
SurfControl and I can check those settings. Any other ideas?
